The intent of this journal is to give writing tips and advice for fandom writing. Fandom writing includes things like fan fiction and role playing with fandom characters. A lot of the writing advice could also be used to write original fiction. However, I intend to gear this towards applying it towards fandom writing. Whatever your flavor and whatever your writing experience, hopefully this can help you.

prettygothpens is not about pens that happen to be black and shiny. The idea of the name is meant to invoke the idea of penning a letter.

I'm

prettygothgirl. I have been writing original and fandom works for about eleven years and have been posting under various names for about seven years. (Various could mean a lot of things.) The fandom I write for under

prettygothgirl is Final Fantasy X/X-2 (and a little FFXII). All my writing, videos, manipulations and other artistic endeavorers can be found at

prettygoth_ink. Yes, I am female. My vices include drinking Coca Cola, swearing, and writing (and reading) porn.
